By accessing or using the slidecheck service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

slidecheck provides an automated tool for checking PowerPoint (.pptx) presentations for formatting, style, spelling, and grammar inconsistencies. The Service analyzes the file you provide and returns a report with its findings.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to upload, process, or transmit any content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware.
• You do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships.

You are solely responsible for the content of the files you upload to the Service.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. slidecheck makes no warranty that the Service will be error-free or that the results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable. While we strive for high accuracy, we do not guarantee that every error in a presentation will be found.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall slidecheck, its owners, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

6. Data Privacy and Security

We take your privacy seriously. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we have a zero-retention policy for your files. Files are deleted from our servers shortly after processing. We do not store, log, or share the content of your presentations.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page.

9. License and Restrictions on Use

When you purchase or download the local version of the Service, you are granted a non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and non-exclusive license to use the Service on a single machine for your personal or internal business use only.

You agree not to copy, distribute, resell, or make the Service available to others, including but not limited to colleagues, teams, or organizations, without prior written permission from slidecheck. Any unauthorized sharing or redistribution may result in termination of your license and legal action.
